Jacob M. Rocchi focuses his practice on the defense of health care providers in medical malpractice cases.

Prior to joining Baum O’Connor Cullen Chmiel, Jacob was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Kelley T.D. Streib at the Butler County Court of Commons Pleas.  There, Jacob drafted judicial opinions, orders of court, and factual findings, performed legal research in various areas of civil law, and managed the Butler County Credit Conciliation Program.

Jacob obtained a Juris Doctorate, Master of Laws, and Sports Law Certificate from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2023.  There, Jacob held leadership roles in numerous student-led organizations.  Of note, Jacob was elected as the Editor-in-Chief of the UNH Sports Law Review and the Treasurer of the UNH Sports & Entertainment Law Society.

Jacob obtained a Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020.  There, Jacob worked as a research assistant in the Department of Occupational Therapy and then in the Department of Computational Biology.  Jacob’s research project at the Department of Computational Biology involved the use of computer-aided drug design to study triosephosphate isomerase deficiency, a rare genetic disorder.
